Constructed using three pieces of leather; front, back and a spine piece. Tooling appears on the front side only. The backside is a piece of durable, long-lasting black leather.
- Hand cast Britannia pewter button and leather thong closure.
- Comes with a blank hardbound book insert included; soft white, 65 lb, acid free. Includes lined template sheet for straight lined writing. Simply place the template behind the page as you write. The bold lines show through just enough.
- Cover Dimensions: 9.5 x 12 inches (since 2019 - This is a NEW, slightly larger version of our classic journal/sketchbook cover! New dimensions make these more compatible with standard sketchbooks, allowing you the option of your favorite brand sketchbook refill.)

Our full grain custom tanned domestic bullhide is drum dyed for a rich saturated color. It has a medium firm temper which will get soft and supple with use, while still keeping it's structured shape.
Leather is a natural material. Variation in grain, texture and color are bound to occur. These photos are representative only and may not exactly match what you will see in real life.
